WeldChrome 98 is a low hydrogen basic coated electrode for radiographic weld quality. The weld bead gives deposits of 2.25% Cr & 1% Mo having excellent strength & creep resistance properties up to 500°C. The electrodes offer resistance to moisture reabsorption which avoids hydrogen cracking & starting porosity.
Applications:
Welding of Cr-Mo & Cr-Mo-V Steels. Low alloy steels, boilers, piping operating @ 600°C.
